On December 6, 2024, the students of St. Brother Andre Senior High School gathered at the Assembly Hall at 8:20 a.m. for their Advent retreat.

The program commenced with vibrant praise and worship, led by the Peyton Band. Students and teachers sang and danced together to worship the Lord.

Rev. Fr. Paul delivered a message on the theme “In the Potter’s Hands” based on Jeremiah 18:1-6. He encouraged everyone to be productive in all aspects of their lives, emphasizing that this is what God desires from us. Rev. Fr. Paul further reassured the audience with a verse from Isaiah 43:1-7, where God promises to always be with His people, giving them no reason to fear. He concluded his message with a verse from 2 Corinthians 2:9, emphasizing the importance of obedience.

The program continued with a confession session exclusively for Catholics, while non-Catholics attended a counseling session. The celebration of Mass followed immediately, led by Rev. Fr. Emmanuel.

In his homily, Rev. Fr Emmanuel encouraged the students to reflect on their lives and remove any darkness or negative traits, such as anger, hatred, or jealousy. He concluded by emphasizing the importance of persistent prayer, asking God to remove any unpleasant traits that need to be eliminated.
